Life Changing Art
Jonathan is the first Global Entertainment Ambassador for the Lalela Foundation. The Lalela Foundation provides educational arts for at-risk youth to spark creative thinking and awaken the entrepreneurial spirit. Through Lalela's arts curriculum and critical messaging component, they ignite imagination and teach children how to map and manifest their dreams and goals, launching the possibility of a different future for themselves and their communities. Lalela directly serves more than 5,000 South African learners per week, ages six through post-high school, adhering to a curriculum ‘I AM’ (for “ideas, art and music”).
“The vision of Lalela and the vision we had is pretty much the same,” Jonathan notes. “My wife and I continue to support the arts and music and culture and the legacy of our people and our story. And when you see these kids work, you’ll just be amazed.”
Ubuntu Climate initiative
Ubuntu: an ancient African word meaning ‘humanity to others,’ often translated as “I am Because You/We Are.” We are responding to the call from our ancestors to return balance to our environment. They tell us that all is not well. They are asking for our help to return our environment and our community to a state of harmony and balance. They tell us that it is NOT too late; the time is NOW.
